Happy New Year's Eve my darling's it's your Astrology Diva getting ready to kiss 2013 good-bye and ring in 2014 !!  Before I do I have to say that 2013 has been a very fast, year one  with many twists & turns, and many changes. Fortunately for me they were for the better. I removed toxic people from my life, I traveled more, am healthier, happier, and am thriving. With that said though I am aware that for many 2013 brought loss, anxiety, and overall fear to many.         The message that I have received over & over to make 2014 better it to face your fears and release them once & for all. We all know everybody gets excited with the anticipation of a New Year however this year is extra special because just as we ring in 2014 it will be during a New Moon. The last time this has happened was 19 years ago.  This makes for excellent manifesting. The Symbol of  Sagittarius is The Archer. Personally I have literally had my some close to me been faced with both Birth & Death all in the first week of Sept. And that is just the tip of the ice berg.       Hello everyone it's your astrology diva here to talk about the Blue Moon tonight. Now we have all heard the expression "once in a blue moon," however my kitty cats this is our second Blue Moon. So this is a very special night indeed. The last Blue Moon was on July 21 so try to remember what desires you were manifesting that night. Right now the Sun is still in Cancer.          What you might not have known is that there were many planets aligning during the New Moon  especially in water signs. As I mentioned in an earlier blog Jupiter, the planet of good fortune is in Cancer as is Mercury in retrograde. Saturn, the planet of structure and discipline is in Scorpio, while Neptune, the planet of dreams and fantasy is in Pisces.       Hello darlings, it's your Astrology Diva here hoping that all of you had a festive and fun 4th. I know I did. While celebrating our nation's birthday it got me thinking about freedom. We have freedom of speech, religion, who to vote for, who to marry, even what to wear. While I was thinking of all these wonderful freedoms we get to enjoy, I was also drawn to various sites & articles talking about releasing fears. Which brings me to the point of my blog ......Freedom from Fear.       Fear is a paralyzing thing. It can rear its ugly head at any moment leaving you feeling helpless & hopeless. People have many fears for many different many reasons. However many cannot pinpoint where exactly they come from.  Fear can range from being afraid of the dark to being afraid to leave a dead-end job for something better.  However it is all in your head. Think of our forefathers that came over from England to start a new country that would eventually become America.         W

     Tonight is the night. We've anticipated it, blogged about it, now the wait is over..... no darlings I am not talking about the season finale of "Mad Men" no I am talking about the Super Moon. This is the closest the moon has ever been to Earth and is referred to as the Perigee Moon.  What makes this so special that in 2013 not only will the Moon be the closest to Earth but it will also be at it's fullest. So in astrological terms, it's kind of a big deal. Not to mention that this happening right after the Summer Solstice. It's rare to have all these planet interact so closely together in such major ways.      With the heavy energies and planets shifting about many people may feel fatigued, irritable, out of sorts, and basically not themselves. Fear not is this all perfectly normal especially during full moons. My advice is to relax. Meditate, drink plenty of water, and stay away from drama, negative people situations and or/ people.       Hello darlings, and hello summer. Yesterday as you well know was the Summer Solstice. A celebration of the changing seasons, crops growing , warmer days, and basically an invitation for us all to go out and have some much needed fun in the sun. People celebrate the Summer Solstice by hosting bonfires, dancing, hosting meals with fresh fruit and vegetables. Setting intentions and asking for protection and guidance from negative sources.      Even though we have had many Summer Solstice's this one is extra special because we are also heading into a Super Moon. A rarity indeed!! We find ourselves in unique situation where we are simultaneously celebrating and welcoming new beginning while saying goodbye and mourning past influences that no longer serve us. Leaving us quite emotionally drained.  Speaking for myself this has been overall a good week; a hard week that has felt exceptionally long, however it's  been good. This week has been a bit of a emotional roller coaster, but fear not calmer days are on the way.       As I said last week we had a New Moon/Lunar Eclipse where many set their intentions. Usually afterwards it is normal after a full moon to feel for lack of a better term "out of sorts." For one thing even when you are setting positive goals, the energy that is being putting forth can be draining. Full moons can affect people. I like the Full Moon however, it does not like me.      Hello again, it's your Astrology Diva and I am here to talk about the New Moon/Lunar Eclipse, manifesting, and what this all means for you. Right now the Sun is now in Taurus  and the Moon will also be in Taurus so this will be in my opinion a little extra special.       During a New Moon it is important to set your intentions for what you want in the future e.g. a new job, home, more money, finding your soulmate and so on. There are many ways you can go about this. Some people light candles, some will actually "plant the seeds of their intentions" meaning that they will get a small potted plant, then on a notepad write down of their intent/goals, fold and place the paper in the soil along with seeds and hence plant the seeds of their goals. There are also vision boards you can make (they are my personal fave). Or if you don't feel that creative you can always do the tried and true and write down your goals in a journal. To be clear I am not an astrologer but rather an astrology enthusiast. Meaning that I do not have the credentials like Mark S.
