Twelve Signs
As I wrote earlier there are twelve signs of the zodiac and listed them. Now I will break down all of their meanings. Even though each sign has commonalities they do have their own distinct characteristics. I think this is why I love astrology so much! So onto the signs....
Fire Signs : Aries, Leo, & Sagittarius. So I will start with Aries the Ram(Mar.20-Apr.19): This sign kicks off the zodiac meaning it is the first sign of the zodiac. Head strong, likes to be in charge, full of energy, charming, domineering, has a tendency to be overconfident. Unlike their other Fire sign counterparts Aries are not as concerned with being the most popular, they do however like to be in a leadership role. As a boss or mentor and be respected as such. Like the animal Ram, when they want something they go charging after it.
Leo the Lion(Jul. 23-Aug.22): This a sign synonymous with glamour, attention, drama, and LOVES being the center of attention. It's no wonder that so many entertainers even politicians for that matter (hello Bill Clinton) are Leos. They are in love with love and just love the public talking about them. The very worst thing to do to a Leo is ignore them. Very loyal to family, friends, hardworking, tend to be unlucky in love. Very optimistic even when they fail at something they manage to see it as an achievement.
Sagittarius the Archer(Nov.22-De.21): They aim for what they want. Love to travel I should know my dad & uncle are both Sags and were both lucky enough to have jobs where they were paid to travel. Hate being interrupted. Totally need their space, do not like being told what to do. Do best when they work independently. wants to be liked. Honest, hates being lied to, always up for a good time. Can be mischievous.
Earth Signs : Taurus, Virgo, & Capricorn.
Taurus:(Apr.20-May-20) The Bull very stubborn, hardworking, hates change. The best way that I can describe Taurus is the character "Frodo" from the " The Hobbit" very content to hang out at the shire, smoke his pipe, tend to his garden, have his delicious meals (Taurus is a sensual sign and they do like their food & drink). They dislike change. So when "Gandalf" said c'mon let's go on an adventure "Frodo" was having none of it. Even though in the end change can be good for them, they will fight it. They are also loyal, giving, and value security.
Virgo (Aug.23-Sept.22): The Virgin neat, organized, if you are in need of getting your medicine cabinet cleaned, closet rearranged, to get you busy schedule loaded on your blackberry Virgo is your go to. They can't deal with clutter, and can't understand why everybody doesn't use a to-do list. Pragmatic, work hard play hard is their motto. Oh and don't be fooled by their sign being called "the virgin." They are anything but. Sensual and sexual is the name of their game.
Capricorn:(Dec.22-Jan.20) The Goat could easily be called the hardest working sign in the zodiac. Goal setting, workaholic, never satisfied always aiming for higher goals if only for themselves. Generous, hates gossip, very driven, reliable, dependable. This sign will never call in sick and as fellow Cap sings Mary J. Blige no more drama.
Air Signs: Gemini, Libra, & Aquarius
Gemini:(May21-Jun.20) The Twins: when Ricky Martin sang "switchin' sides like a Gemini" he wasn't kidding. One minute chatting a mile a minute, with everybody going everywhere, being as social as can be, the next, total silence, secluded, wanting to be left totally alone. Incredibly chatting, hates being bored, very creative, masters of multi-tasking, friendly, as well as very charitable. Many of my Gemini friends participate in fundraisers for various causes. Flirtatious, noncommittal, fall in love easily. They also make very good bosses.
Libra:(Sept.23-Oct.22) The Scales: balance, balance, balance is what this sign is about. If their work/home life is out of sync, they are out of sync. Meditation can be very useful for them. Like Gemini's Libra's tend to know everybody, they love the best of everything, prefer to be in a relationship to being single, hates being alone. Finds beauty in everything around them. Can have a tendency to overindulge.
Aquarius(Jan.21-Feb.18): The Water Bearer thought of the peace keeper of the zodiac. Aquarians tend to take a detached view of life. One never knows what they are truly thinking. Social, likes to get lost in a crowd, gives good sage advice, so when they do have something of value to say it pays to listen to them. Creative, loves to read, very good mediators.
Water Signs: Cancer, Scorpio, & Pisces
Cancer(Jun.21-Jul.22): The Crab: shy, slow to trust, homebody, doesn't want to throw anything away (memories) I know my brother is Cancer. Family oriented, crabby, likes good food (they have a knack for picking the best restaurants, and ordering the best dishes). Sensitive, caring, a rock to lean on during hard times.
Scorpio(Oct.23-Nov.21): The Scorpion: mysterious, sexy, secretive, possessive, and these our just our best traits! Has few friends however those friends are true blue. Likes to have the upper hand, doesn't like feeling vulnerable, needs security, loyalty, and honesty. Betray a Scorpio and get ready to get stung with their stinger.
Pisces(Feb.19-Mar.19):The Fish: deemed the unluckiest sign of the zodiac. Pisces are hopeless romantics. Dreamers, artists, escapists, when feeling depressed can turn to escapism by using drugs, alcohol, and destructive relationships. They love to live in their own fantasy land. Fellow Piscean Dr. Seuss created the world of WhoVille.
