      Hello everyone it's your astrology diva here to talk about the Blue Moon tonight. Now we have all heard the expression "once in a blue moon," however my kitty cats this is our second Blue Moon. So this is a very special night indeed. The last Blue Moon was on July 21 so try to remember what desires you were manifesting that night. The energy of that manifestation will carry itself over to tonight's Full Moon/Blue Moon.       Right now the Sun is in Leo and it is getting ready to move into the sign of Virgo on Aug. 23. The Moon is in Aquarius.       Hello my lovelies, it's your Astrology Diva here to tell you all about what's in store for the New Moon on July 8th.   As you know the New Moon was last Monday and it was in the Sign of Cancer. Right now the Sun is still in Cancer.          What you might not have known is that there were many planets aligning during the New Moon  especially in water signs. As I mentioned in an earlier blog Jupiter, the planet of good fortune is in Cancer as is Mercury in retrograde. Saturn, the planet of structure and discipline is in Scorpio, while Neptune, the planet of dreams and fantasy is in Pisces.       Hello darlings, it's your Astrology Diva here hoping that all of you had a festive and fun 4th. I know I did. While celebrating our nation's birthday it got me thinking about freedom. We have freedom of speech, religion, who to vote for, who to marry, even what to wear. While I was thinking of all these wonderful freedoms we get to enjoy, I was also drawn to various sites & articles talking about releasing fears. Which brings me to the point of my blog ......Freedom from Fear.       Fear is a paralyzing thing. It can rear its ugly head at any moment leaving you feeling helpless & hopeless. People have many fears for many different many reasons. However many cannot pinpoint where exactly they come from.  Fear can range from being afraid of the dark to being afraid to leave a dead-end job for something better.  However it is all in your head.      Tonight is the night. We've anticipated it, blogged about it, now the wait is over..... no darlings I am not talking about the season finale of "Mad Men" no I am talking about the Super Moon. This is the closest the moon has ever been to Earth and is referred to as the Perigee Moon.  What makes this so special that in 2013 not only will the Moon be the closest to Earth but it will also be at it's fullest. So in astrological terms, it's kind of a big deal. Not to mention that this happening right after the Summer Solstice. It's rare to have all these planet interact so closely together in such major ways.      With the heavy energies and planets shifting about many people may feel fatigued, irritable, out of sorts, and basically not themselves.       Hello darlings, and hello summer. Yesterday as you well know was the Summer Solstice. A celebration of the changing seasons, crops growing , warmer days, and basically an invitation for us all to go out and have some much needed fun in the sun. People celebrate the Summer Solstice by hosting bonfires, dancing, hosting meals with fresh fruit and vegetables. Setting intentions and asking for protection and guidance from negative sources.      Even though we have had many Summer Solstice's this one is extra special because we are also heading into a Super Moon. A rarity indeed!! We find ourselves in unique situation where we are simultaneously celebrating and welcoming new beginning while saying goodbye and mourning past influences that no longer serve us.       Tonight is the Full Moon//Lunar Eclipse. Some refer to this full moon as the Flower Moon. This is a time of heavy energy and major releasing of things that no longer serve you.       With the Sun in Gemini and Moon in Sagittarius we are feeling more driven than ever to put out words, thoughts, and intentions into action. Gemini being an Air sign bore easily and are always multi-tasking and wanting to be of service to their community. While Sagittarius a Fire sign is all about action and as the sign of the Archer aiming for what they want. This week has been a bit of a emotional roller coaster, but fear not calmer days are on the way.       As I said last week we had a New Moon/Lunar Eclipse where many set their intentions. Usually afterwards it is normal after a full moon to feel for lack of a better term "out of sorts." For one thing even when you are setting positive goals, the energy that is being putting forth can be draining. Full moons can affect people. I like the Full Moon however, it does not like me. I will have restless night's sleep, headaches, so on so forth. The same reaction can happen to people during a New Moon.
