Born on the Cusp: A Tale of Two Signs
Hello my dears, it's your Astrology Diva here to blog about being born on the cusp. What does that mean? It is when a person's birthday is smack dab in the middle of two signs. I thought this would be the perfect time to discuss it since right now the Sun is leaving Earth Sign pragmatic Virgo and entering fair & balanced loving Air sign Libra.
Being born on the cusp can raise many questions. The major one being "What is my Sign?" usually followed up with "Do I have to read both horoscopes everyday. There are many schools of thought of this. One is ignore the cusp pick a sign and stick with it!! Meaning that they feel strongly connected with one sign than the other, though, they are born on the cusp. Another train of thought o f this is to look at both signs, and consider that you are getting the best traits of both signs. A friend of mine who happens to born on the cusp. The Aquarius/Pisces cups to be specific. She had confided to me that depending on the year, and what is going on in her life; she will resonate strongly with one sign, over the other. e.g. some years Aquarius, some years Pisces. Personally I feel that is the best way to handle it. However, our tireless astrologers are hard at work and for those of you that are born on the cusp and are still seeking answers. Here is a good book for you " Astrology on the Cusp: Birthdays on The Edge of Two Signs" by Sally Cragin
For the record people will ask me if I think if it is a bad thing for some one to be born on the cusp. The answer is no. I don't think that it is bad or good, it is just what makes you who you are. However I will say this I do feel for those who are born on Feb. 29 AKA leap year babies. Imagine celebrating your birthday on your actual day just every four years, every other year your forced to either celebrate either on Feb. 28 or Mar. 1. These my dears are the things I think about :)
Hope all my Virgo friends had a very happy birthday and want to wish all my Libra friends a very happy birthday as well! Until next time XOXO <3 <3
